Neuro Venture: ADHD Focus
Built by a neurodivergent developer for neurodivergent people, because we process the world a little differently.
The Vision
Building for the ADHD Brain
I've always hated doing chores—and honestly, I still do. That's why I created a habit tracker that actually makes me want to finish my daily tasks. As a gamer, getting rewarded for the boring stuff is the only thing that keeps me motivated.
High Stakes
Turning daily chores into high-stakes quests where failure has visual consequences in-game.
Visual Rewards
Every completion triggers haptic feedback and pixel-art animations designed for maximum satisfaction.

CONCEPT & PERSONAL NEED
I built this because I needed it. Most habit trackers assume a neurotypical brain, but for me, checking a box isn't enough. I needed stakes, rewards, and a system that speaks to how my ADHD brain actually works.
GAME MECHANICS AS HABIT SYSTEMS
Your habits become quests. Complete them and your character levels up, earns gold, and experience. Miss them and your character takes damage. The game mechanics are the habit system.
RETRO AESTHETIC & PIXEL ART
I spent a lot of time creating new outfits for the hero. I eventually had to increase the gold costs for the top-tier legendary gear because it's actually quite easy to rack up XP and gold once you get into a rhythm with your tasks.
FEATURES & PROFILE
I added little quality-of-life features like scheduling reminders for later, adding custom notes, and setting difficulty levels. You get 5 XP for easy tasks, 10 XP for medium, and 15 XP for hard. You can track your entire journey—lifetime XP, level, and gold—right in your profile.
App Store Launch
I had five beta testers helping me out for a week. We didn't have a single crash, but I started getting impatient with how long the testing phase was taking. I decided to just go for it and launched it on the App Store.
