Privacy Policy

1. Information the App Uses

Neuro Venture may store information you create in the app, including task and reminder text, optional notes, due dates, completion history, XP, Gold, selected hero, rewards, preferences, and active focus-timer information. Gold is fictional in-app game currency used for Neuro Venture rewards and progression; it has no real-world cash value.

If you choose to connect Apple Health, Neuro Venture may request read-only access to supported data used for Health-based quests and progress: Steps, Walking / Running Distance, Workouts / Exercise Activity, and Workout / Exercise Duration. Supported Health progress may also appear in Neuro Venture widgets.

Health permission is optional. If you deny or revoke access, or if a supported data type is unavailable, Neuro Venture continues to work without Health-based progress.

This information is used to provide the app's quest, habit, progress, reward, reminder, timer, and widget features.

2. Local Storage

Your gameplay and task data are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage systems. Neuro Venture does not require you to create an account, does not operate a developer-owned server for your quest data, and does not currently provide its own iCloud synchronization for Neuro Venture app data.

If you delete the app, reset the device, or erase its data, locally stored information may be lost. Device backups are controlled by your Apple and device settings.

3. Apple Services

Purchases: Premium Adventurer is offered as a $4.99 lifetime, one-time purchase with no subscription. Purchases and restorations are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Apple handles payment information under its own privacy policy; Neuro Venture does not directly receive your credit-card information and receives only the information needed to confirm the Premium entitlement.

Notifications and reminders: Notification permission is optional. Where available, Neuro Venture uses Apple's notification system for scheduled quest reminders, focus-timer alerts, Snooze, Complete, and related app functionality. You can change permission at any time in iOS or iPadOS Settings.

Widgets and Live Activities: Widgets and Live Activities may display quest information, focus timers, XP, fictional in-app Gold, or supported Health progress supplied by Neuro Venture. Their presentation and refresh timing are also managed by iOS or iPadOS.

Apple Health: Read access to Steps, Walking / Running Distance, Workouts / Exercise Activity, and Workout / Exercise Duration is optional and controlled through Apple Health permissions. Neuro Venture does not claim ownership of Health data, does not sell it, and does not use it for advertising. If permission is denied or a supported data type is unavailable, Neuro Venture continues to work without Health-based progress. If Apple Health uses iCloud to synchronize Health data between your Apple devices, that is an Apple system feature and is separate from Neuro Venture app-data synchronization.

4. Support Emails

If you choose Send Feedback or Report a Problem, your mail app may prepare a message containing information you provide. A problem report may include app version, build, device type, operating-system version, or relevant reward transaction history so the issue can be investigated.

Email is sent only when you choose to send it. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in task names, notes, or support messages.

5. Sharing and Sale of Data

Neuro Venture does not sell your personal information or Health data. Information, including Health data, is not shared with advertisers or used for advertising. Data may be handled by Apple when you use Apple Health, App Store purchases, notifications, device backups, or other Apple services, subject to Apple's terms and policies.

6. Your Choices

• Edit, complete, or delete tasks and rewards inside the app.
• Allow, deny, or turn off notifications in the app or your device settings.
• Allow or revoke Apple Health access to Steps, Walking / Running Distance, Workouts / Exercise Activity, and Workout / Exercise Duration in Health or device settings.
• Continue using Neuro Venture without Health-based progress if Health access is unavailable or denied.
• Choose whether to send feedback or problem reports.
• Delete the app to remove its locally stored app data, subject to any device backups.

7. Children's Privacy

Neuro Venture is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. Because task text is stored locally, parents and guardians should supervise use as appropriate for their household.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when the app's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when an update is published.
